This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This requirement is addressed by z/OS Connect (OpenAPI 3) V3.0.65 / APAR PH51617:

For further details, refer to step 7 in the “Writing an application that calls the Host API” topic
in the z/OS Connect (OpenAPI 3) Documentation:

Thank you for this RFE.
This is a strategic requirement that is part of our long term roadmap.
Delivering this requirement will need some careful design consideration and may take some time to deliver. We are currently seeking participation in our design program to help us develop our initial designs. If you are interested in joining us on this journey to shape the delivery of this capability, please sign up to the Z Client Feedback program via the link below, indicating your interest in z/OS Connect EE:

Thank you for the additional comments. They have been noted by the team. We understand that this is an important capability, and would provide an improved development experience compared to the capability to handle non-200 responses codes in the product today:

Though we hope to accept this RFE in future, unfortunately we are not yet at the point where this fits among our highest priorities, and as such we can re-open this RFE at this time.
It's extremely disappointing that this has been declined and I start to wonder what the priorities are for zCEE product development if basic functions like these are ignored.
We also view this as a high priority item and a blocker for effective use of the zos Connect EE product. Its extremely disappointing to see that this RFE has been declined.
We also view this as a high priority item and a blocker for effective use of the zos Connect EE product. Its extremely disappointing to so that this RFE has been declined.
Whilst this requirement is valid, based on our current plans and priorities for IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition, it is not likely that this could be implemented in the next 12 months. Correspondingly this requirement is being declined at this point. The requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future and we would hope to deliver it at some point. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
