Merged idea

This idea has been merged into another idea. To comment or vote on this idea, please visit ZCEE-I-311 ability to map multiple response messages with API Requesters.

API Requestor - handle multiple HTTP 2nn codes for a Method / Service Merged

Currently ZOS Connect can only handle a single HTTP 2nn status code for any combination of Method and service.

This is detailed in : https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS4SVW_3.0.0/facilitating/generate_artifacts_overview.html

Many if not most 3rd Party API's allow for multiple 2nn codes to be returned for a method/service. So for a POST operation 201 and 202 are commonly returned as HTTP status codes in the response.

Alas zos Connect only allows for a single 2nn status code. So if 201 is returned all is well - however; 202 is returned it results a fatal exception.

Thank you for raising this requirement. It is being closed as a duplicate of existing RFE 134703:
    https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewChangeRequest&CR_ID=134703

Whilst the requirement it is valid, based on our current plans and priorities for IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition, it is not likely that this could be implemented in the next 12 months. Correspondingly this requirement is being declined at this point. This requirement will be kept in the RFE system and might be reassessed in the future and we would hope to deliver it at some point. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
