Control asyncRequestTimeout on API or Service level

Currently it is only possible to set the asyncRequestTimeout parameter on a server level within the zosconnect_zosConnectManager element. We keep the value for this default rather low to have some protection against misbehaving programs. For most scenario's this is fine but now we run into the issue that one of the API's requires a value that is a lot higher than our default (because of technical reasons). Thus in this case we would like to set a different timeout value for this api/service while also keeping the default for all the others.

Thank you for raising this Idea.

Whilst this requirement is valid, it is not likely that this enhancement could be implemented in the next 12 months due to other priorities. Consequently, this requirement is not under consideration at this point. The requirement will be kept in our system, however, and might be reassessed in the future. You also have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months' time if you wish it to be reconsidered then.
