    After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming release because it won?t be pursued within our planning cycle.

    If it's implemented as an option, then ok. We avoid Deacts/Acts on z/OS LPARs as they interfere with the weight distribution on the CEC and lead to customer SLA problems.

    Yes, agree. We would make use of this, not for every RIPL, but a good number.

    Nice to have. We use predefined batch scripts for ReIPL. These scripts do activate, but they would be less complex with this solution.

    Same situation here. ReIPL with deact/act is our standard and it could be performed much quicker and less error-prone if it can be called with a single action.
