This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

It seems an important security check. Medium priority.
Good idea.....Having the ability to delete without a security check seems an oversight.
Maybe also a possibility to archive (& export) instead of delete. A profile to prevent premature deletion is somewhat a minimum. Medium.
Nice to have but a really low prio.
Does not apply to Worldpay
Agreed - you shouldn't be able to clear out the audit log that shows changes to your cyber vault configuration, so this should be added to dual control. Like we do with the Netlog, perhaps we could offload this log to a GDG on a (daily ?) timer, or each time a DC ticket is executed - then at least, we could protect that dataset with SAF rules and roughly control the retention with the GDG limit.
Not something we'll need with the next two years, sadly, but a brilliant idea nonetheless.
LBG: Makes sense to protect this, and it's something we'd like implementing within the next two years.
