This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Today with GDPS LCP on Metro we have multiple captures and a low multiplier for our volumes. As a result we have seen many volumes fall out of SGC on the DS GUI which means they are no longer recoverable as part of certain capture sets. We understand GDPS is already working on new function to have the DASD alert GDPS effectively about this condition, but in the meantime we are left not knowing if any given Capture is 100% until we both tag it and do a LCP RECOVER against it (and see the RC=4 and a report of those volumes that didn't recover OK). We are a customer that is extremely unlikely to ever recover anything other than a 100% LCP capture and would like to be able to see in GDPS/LCP ahead of time which captures are 100% and which captures are not, during the decision making process before ever trying to recover something. This RFE is to request a change to allow us to see within GDPS/LCP which captures are 100% and which are "partial".

we will be using LCP and are also in favour of anything that helps us with monitoring the validity of LCP copies
We do use LCP, I'm not though, entirely convinced this would ever apply to us, but I'm all in favour of anything that helps people make informed decisions ahead a an actual issue.
Same as LBG.
This requirement is not applicable to LBG within the next two years as we don't have LCP and no firm plans to implement at this stage.
