This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Hi. That's fine, but was something I was trying to avoid. I will pursue this option.
Have you had chance to consider our idea to write an Exit? See the comment from Jan. 20th below.
Thank you for submitting this request for enhancement. We have discussed internally a "What-If" utility - however came to the point that this cannot be accurate in an case.
In addition, we have a growing number of interfaces, INGREQ is only one of it. In addition we have SMU as dasboard solution, we added the SA Operations REST API, Ansible playbooks and last not least
the SA Plug-in for Zowe CLI - Ansible and CLI make use of the SA Operations API.
So, all these interfaces would require a "what-if" mode to be sure.
What do you think about writing an own EXIT that warns te user to issue requests against a SYG? This exit would also warn the user in the other cases.
