This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

This would be useful information to be displayed, from a datasource like CKFREEZE or if from the CKRCARLA output.
Information such as:
RACF Database datasets & volumes.
RACF Database dataset size / % used.
What are the parameters used.
Currently the known way to get information like % full is from running the IRRUT200 and other information like extents or running a RVARY command. These processes have to be running on the local LPAR.
If this was available via a CARLa interaction it would give the capability to run a foreground or batch process to check multiple RACF Databases at the same time from a single location rather than having to do it locally on each LPAR.

Hi,
Yes I can...
This is where the output from an IRRUT200 run shows where there are possible conflicts within the RACF database, after the mapping of BAM blocks.
This is taken from the RACF manual on IRRUT200:
"IRRUT200 prints a table of conflict messages that lists the first 200 locations of possible conflicts in the BAM blocks. These messages locate the inconsistencies by referencing the corresponding block, byte, and bit of the encoded mappings. Each word of the encoded map represents one byte of the BAM block. The relative byte address (RBA) of the storage represented by the bit is also included."
It would show with "Locations with possible conflicts" in the output.
Thanks
Thank you.
Can you clarify what you are looking for regarding "database conflicts"?
I'm interested in the following:
- RACF dataset % full
- RACF database conflicts.
- RACF parameter options - sysplex option / updatebackup
I notice that there is a type of DSNT which shows things like the database dataset names and volumes so no requirement there as it already exists.
Can you specify which "parameters" you are interested in?
