Encryption of the vsam databases

It could be advisable to have the possibility (by parameter of instance) to encrypt all (or some vsam database.

  1. only users having the right access to IWSz can access and read the content of the vsam files. there are some non-IBM tool allowing the access and read the content of vsam files)

  2. Users sometimes access the vsam files an unusual way to do some quick and dirty checks, if these checks occurs during a CP or JS file switch, the normal mode manager will fail. the encryption would make these accesses obsolete as the results would not be readable
