Requesting a feature enhancement related to IWS Service Now Interface. Currently within the Controller startup init parms, an INCTICKETTOKEN parm is provided for the INCTICKETCALLER to be able to connect to Service Now. The INCTICKETTOKEN is an OAuth token that has an expire date. This enhancement / Idea is in the area of OAuth token management within our current implementation. At present, the system supports sending an OAuth access token, which is inherently short-lived. However, it lacks the capability to send an OAuth renewal (refresh) certificate to retrieve a new access token once the original has expired. This limitation poses a challenge for maintaining seamless authentication and uninterrupted service access. The need for automated token renewal is critical. Without it, expired access tokens require manual reauthorization, which can disrupt workflows and reduce system reliability. We propose the following enhancement: • Enable the system to send a valid OAuth renewal certificate when the access token expires. • Automatically retrieve and store the new access token using the refresh token mechanism. • Ensure compatibility with existing OAuth 2.0 standards and security protocols. This feature would significantly improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention, especially in integrations such as ServiceNow and IWS Scheduler, where token expiration has already been flagged as a concern. We appreciate your consideration of this request and are happy to provide additional context or participate in any review or planning sessions needed to support implementation. Thank you.

All IWS users using the Service Now Interface.
