This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

We are using TWSz to schedule production and test jobs. TWSz includes a IEFACTRT (EQQACTR1) which also writes statistics in the joblog. Among the statistics is CPU usage. For users to see the real usage of CPU resources the user also needs to know how much time the job spent using ZIIPs. This is also a SMF record 30 field (SMF30_TIME_ON_zIIP). We think it would be a good idea to show ZIIP usage as well as CPU usage in the job step statistics. We think that the field "PG" (=performance group number) is obsolete nowadays so that this field could be eliminated and ZIIP usage added instead.

This is a very good idea and should be included as soon as possible.
This requirement is valid but not in plan for now. We have a strategic plan to collect more job statistics but this will not happen earlier than 2024/2025, so for now we close it.
