Allow wildcards in SuperC batch member selection

Using SuperC Search-For from the ISPF panels allows members to be selected using '*' and '%' wildcards, i.e. like '*SP3%' as a membername. It would be very useful if the same format could be used in SELECT statements in the JCL SYSIN dataset

Additional SuperC returncode for changed data compare

Batch invocation of SuperC (ISRSUPC) currently gives two "normal" completion return codes, 0 for "No differences" and "1" for "Differences found". A third "normal" completion return code of 2 would be advantageous for those cases where there are n...

ISPF ISRSUPC to permit FINDALL to work against individual PDS members

Add an MVS ISPF ISRSUPC/SuperC search option similar to FINDALL that works against discrete members of a PDS. ISRSUPC's FINDALL process option returns a positive match only if all SRCHFOR criteria are met. This works fine for a sequential file; ho...

SuperC Option to Report Entire Record and Highlight Differences

A SuperC comparison will by default report ~90 bytes of the record containing a difference, or ~190 bytes using an existing option. We would like an option that allows the entire record to be shown within the existing report width, wrapped to as m...

SuperC - Do Not Report Spacing Changes Unless Within Quotes

There is an existing option, DLREFM (suppress reformatted lines from the listing) which although it does suppress the reformatted lines from the OLD file, it does not suppress them from the NEW file. Another option, REFMOVR, suppresses reformatted...

SuperC support for VSAM records greater than 64K

We have a customer that wants to use VSAM datasets with record sizes greater than 64K. They rely on SUPERC to do comparisons of test runs. SUPERC does not support record sizes greater than 64K. We would like to see an enhancement for this support.

Conditional Comparison Column Exclusion

We need the ability to conditionally exclude columns from processing. For example, if columns 1 through 5 are APPLE, then exclude columns 6 through 10 in the comparison. We would need to be able to use different versions of this exclusion in the s...

SUPERC Option to Ignore Trailer Record

When processing members of a PDS, or vendor files either online or in batch, the ability to exclude the last line from the comparison without having to physically specify the starting and ending line numbers to process would significantly improve ...
