SunRI1.2 implementation jar is not picked up by WAS 8.5 Classpath Container

com.ibm.ws.jsf.RI1_2.jar is not picked up by WAS 8.5 Classpath Container automatically in RBD9. Workaround is to add this JAR in applications class path (within WEB-INF/lib) which i don't feel is correct.
