Exception Handling with 8.5.1 RBD

Need to add this property by default with RBD version's

In RBD 8.5( and within updated v8.0.1.x versions) a new runtime property egl.service.rest.exception.debug was introduced for security reasons:
http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/rbdhelp/v8r5m0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.egl.gg.doc%2Ftopics%2Fgegl_java_runtimepropdeploy.html

The initial, default value of this is false which you will see in the above link is described as:
"If the value is false, a runtime exception will return only the following details: a timestamp, a message ID, and a reference to the application server log."

This replicates your behavior so we need to set this to true in your web application via the web.xml files by adding it as below, then republishing and restarting WAS.
<env-entry>
<env-entry-name>egl.service.rest.exception.debug</env-entry-name>
<env-entry-type>java.lang.Boolean</env-entry-type>
<env-entry-value>true</env-entry-value>
</env-entry>

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
    Product - Business Developer

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
    Product family - Design & development
    Product - Business Developer

    Thank you for this suggestion. However, we do not expect to implement it because to change the default value of egl.service.rest.exception.debug to true will cause a security violation as documented: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21612314. We will update the document to add more details to notify customers about this runtime property.
