Allow User Variables in the various JCL Substition tabs to use Global Variables.This would increase flexibility and ease of use. For example, a user variable DBRMDSN could be defined as &HLQ..DBRMLIB.

optional real time syntax check in browse mode

In rdz preferences you have the option to disable/enable real time syntax check. We would like to have the option to enable the feature when in edit mode, and disable when in browse mode (file opened in read-only)

Macro support using the Emulator

We need to be able to build multi Macro's. We would then like to beable to define keys on the keyboard that would automaticly kick off a predefined macro.

In the emulator a double click should act as an enter as all pc tools do

Debug Listener for Rational Developer for Z

IBM developed an EGL listener for RBD for the purpose of communicating VAGEN 2.2 GUIs calling EGL (CICS) applications. We would like to have the same listener, behaviour for RDZ

Invalid processing of CICS system copybooks that contain hex values.

Copybook DFHAID and DFHBMSCA contain fields have have value clauses that are entered with data that cannot be pulled in by RDz correctly from the mainframe. I found this reference for resolving the DFHAID issue: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docvi...
