OMEGAMON XE password length

US DOD Auditor are requiring all DOD servers to use. passwords greater than 8 characters long, mixed case and all special characters. OMEGAMON XE for z/os and MVS doesn't support pass phrase therefore we cannot meet the US DOD auditors requirements.

Increase TOS Message limit to 512 or 1024 characters

ETOS.EXE has to truncate messages to 255 characters. This limit should be extended to 512 or 1024 characters so that every message sent to a tpf host's console can be captures.

It could by useful if COBOL editor automatically create reference. Perhaps IDZ could ask the PIC clause (PIC X(10), PIC S9(3) COMP, …) and the section (WORKING, LINKAGE) and add it at the end of this section.

Support for __ptr64 qualifier in LE C

LE C compiler should support the __ptr64 qualifier for 64-bit pointers in 31-bit (or 64-bit) code, as it does for Metal C. Furthermore, EDCDSECT should convert a 64-bit addresses (declared as "AD") to "void * __ptr64", for consistency.
