CPU excessive when collecting data using CICS IA 5.1 and CICS IA 5.2.

Customer attempts to collect data using CICS Interdependency Analyzer. The CPU increases significantly when when CICS IA is activated. Customer performed tests where CICS CPU performance increased from 27% to 62% under CICS IA 5.1.

There is some improvement of CPU performance in CICS IA 5.2 yet it is still not easy from the client standpoint to collect the necessary information without much manual intervention or high CPU consumption.

A number of options have been explained as to how the overheads of collection can be reduced. Please feel free to raise another RFE if this is still an issue for you.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Enterprise Tooling
    Product - CICS Interdependency Analyzer

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    Product - CICS Interdependency Analyzer

    Hello CICS IA Planning,
It's not clear what additional information is being requested.
This RFE was a result of PMR 88754,228,631 and was investigated by Kirill Graves of the CICS IA change team. He had provided considerable assistance and diagnosis to the customer yet CICS IA 5.2 still does not meet their expectations for CPU consumption. PMR 88135,228,631 was also opened by BCU Itau for CICS IA performance and CPU consumption.
Customer documentation for PMR 88754,228,631 is available on ECUREP .
    Thank you,
    Debbie McLaughlin
