When loading a huge data array from VSAM affinity files into DB2 database affinity tables, CIUAFFLD job takes long time to be processed.

    This RFE is specifically about CIUAFFLD job When loading a huge data array from VSAM affinity files into Db2 database affinity tables. The bottle neck is SQL stored procedure which build affinity data and group of affinity tables using SQL interface. Having investigated this issue, there is not much that can be done in the SQL stored procedure used by CICS IA. This process is complex and involves necessary steps to build affinity related data.

    Based on these findings we unfortunately have to reject this RFE.
