New CICSPA for other wait time

In SMF110 records the suspend time field is the sum of all CICS wait times + "other wait time". We would like to have "other wait time" as a CICSPA field in order to rapidly identify if the problem is a CICS issue or a z/OS issue.

    As discussed, the performance cost of calculating the "Other Wait" time field from large volumes of CMF records and the large number of wait fields would make this report very expensive in terms of CPU and elapsed time. We suggest that if you need to determine the APPLID where the "large suspend time" problem occurred, you can specify the "Order by" fields APPLID, TRAN and START when you run the wait analysis report. You can also use a LISTX form/report and include all the Wait fields in this report. You can then create a CSV file and use a spread sheet tool to calculate the "Other Wait" field.
