This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. Liberty SMF 120 Subtype 11 records SM120BBW has the time record when liberty received the zOS Connect request. Once the request is successfully dispatch to z/OS Connect, z/OS Connect records SMF123S1_TIME_ZC_ENTRY entry. Currently PA formats SMF 123 records that shows ZC Entry time. We would like to see when the requests actually hit Mainframe i.e Liberty. SMF 120 and SMF123 records will provide more clues on when records are reached to Liberty server and z/OS Connect.
When IBM z/OS Connect tracking token is added to Liberty SMF 120 records, the SMF 123 records would also be correlated with the SMF 120 records as well as CICS 110 records. This will have huge advantage in investigating performance problems.
