Multiple CICSPLEX view for CICS Explorer

Requirement:
Ability for CICS Explorer to connect to, display, and manage resources in multiple regions simultaneously regardless of which LPAR and/or SYSPLEX might contain those regions.  Permit logical groupings of regions by function without the current limitations of CPSM (for example, with CPSM any given region can be a member of one and only one CICSplex).  Groupings under the proposed requirement would permit one region to be defined to, accessed by, and managed through multiple groups.
 
Rationale:
Would allow CICS Explorer users access to comprehensive topology and configuration information.  For example, if the desire was to identify every region in the enterprise that contained a given transaction, program, or local file resource then this function would provide that ability.  The proposed grouping mechanism would permit grouping regions according to application or business function(s) without reqard to their physical location, necessarily.

    This requirement has been re-evaluated. Looking at current plans, it is not likely that this would be implemented in the next two CICS TS releases, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in eighteen months time if you wish it to be considered then.
