Provide a CICS API to generate an encrypted RACF Passticket based upon a Kerberos token.

Using the CICS API (RFE 38916) to verify a Kerberos token in CICS it is also necessary to generate a RACF Passticket for a certain application using the Userid within the Kerberos token.

Providing a CICS API would massively ease the adoption of the widely-adopted Kerberos standard, which is already supported by DB2, LDAP, WebSphere Application Server and others.

This is a well understood requirement. It is a candidate for inclusion in a future release.
