System: HATS
Actor: Official support for HATS containers
HATS is a commonly used product that provides Host Access modernization. HATS projects are normally web applications that are deployed to an application server and accessed over a browser.
Description: Customers deploy HATS applications in a load balanced app server and access using their browser.
With a paradigm shift to cloud a lot of our customers are moving towards cloud infrastructure.
The shift is propelled by the need to better scalability, availability and security. Not to mention the need for consistency across the organisation.
The customers want to create HATS projects that should be deploy-able as containers on cloud.
The container should be supported on RedHat OpenShift and AWS EKS.
The container should be a HATS project on these app servers - IBM WAS, Liberty and JBoss.
Although the customers will be doing this by their own they will need:
1. An official support for HATS containers with IBM WAS, Liberty, JBoss on RedHat OpenShift and AWS EKS.
2. Documentation with examples to help customers with the know-how
