LPEX incremental search

In rdz: preferences /LPEX editor/find text , check the "incremental find dialog".

Then go to the editor and open any source, and do a find using ctrl+f.
As expected the editor searches on-the-fly as you enter your search argument.

As a programmer a typical scenario would be to hit esc when you have found what you was looking for. This also works fine.

But if I want to do a new search, searching for another string, then I press ctrl+f again, but now the editor positions itself at the next location of the previous search argument.

This may and may not be the desired behaviour. If I want to search from the position I was in and forward, its not the correct behaviour.

It would be useful having a check box in
"preferences /LPEX editor/find text "
like "dont perform incremental search on open" or something along these lines,
to allow me to controle the behaviour.
And when checked the editor should not do incremental search when ctrl+f is used, but only when text is entered in search argument.
