support outbound HTTP request (JSON/REST) via Mobile Feature Pack

Enhance the Mobile Feature Pack to support outbound JSON and RESTful calls as well as the current support for inbound calls. Preferably, it should also support outbound calls for generic HTTP(S).

    Thank you for your interest in keeping IMS a vital and successful product.

    We are happy to notify you that the RFE 40435 has been delivered in z/OS Connect EE V3.0.1. You can use the API requester function in z/OS Connect EE V3.0.1 to make a direct call to a RESTful API from an IMS, Batch and CICS application.
