How to monitor CPU usage when having a mix of shared and dedicated processors. We have a setup where we are using shared IFLs for our z/VM LPARs running our Linux on Z workloads, and we have dedicated IFLs for our SSC LPAR running the IDAA on Z. I am looking for the accurate metric to monitor the shared IFLs so that we can understand when we are running close to capacity. If i look at the CPC status for the IFLs it included the percentage of the LPAR with the dedicated IFLs as well. Is there a view that shows only the SHARED IFLs percentage?
