zPDT Licence Manager Installation

We are using zDNT environment for the testing & training purposes. We have token server, License Manager(LM) & zDNT instances & all are on AWS cloud VM.

We have faced issue with LM connectivity. As per the IBM guidelines we have installed LM on new server. Now IBM is saying, LM need to be installed on dedicated hardware. This is costly solution to us. Hence please provide us solution which will be in low cost.

Can LM will be installed on same server where zDNT instance is installed.

    Thank you for submitting this RFE. IBM has evaluated the request and has determined that it can not be implemented at this time or does not align with the current multi-year strategy. This request may be resubmitted for consideration after 12 months from the date of decline. We appreciate you taking the time to submit this request.

    Hi
    We are also forced to use physical server for platform as a license server. Actual zD&T instances are in cloud environment. Current license server is not under our unit management and very difficult to find physical server in current "all to cloud" world. Not cost efficient to buy physical server only for license server purpose. In cloud environment license server will break when moved inside cloud into different place.
