Adding X-command (Export and Import) to each database element (analog to applications 1.4.3)

In an enterprise environment, the process of importing and exporting artifacts from the database, such as ETTs, Periods, Runcycle Groups, JCL Variable Tables, and more, is a necessary task. Currently, the X-command in panel EQQALSTL serves as an e...

When an operation is restarted, nothing currently in the EQQAUDIT report or in the EQQMLOG documents what TYPE of restart command was used (RERUN, RC, SJR, FSR, FJR, etc) and what type of restart (STEP restart, JOB restart) and the selected step for the restart (if any). This information would be useful in troubleshooting issues with restart.

An incorrect restart of an operation (restarted from wrong step, restarted with wrong type of restart command) can cause a lot of problems in an operational zWS environment. There is currently no way to tell what type of restart was done from the ...

Simplify verification of occurence/operation status after performing a CP REFRESH (dialog option 9.5) by having an available copy of the pre-refresh files on a separate controller

Currently it is very difficult to get all the occurrences and operations in the current plan (CP) into the correct status after it is necessary to perform a REFRESH of the long term plan (which deletes the current plan). In fact it is so difficult...

Allow current plan to be automatically rebuilt with correct status information after a refresh of the plan (dialog option 9.5)

Currently it is possible to recreate the current plan from the long term plan after a CP refresh, with loss of all status information. However many customers add most of their worklad dynamically, and dynamically added occurrences are not handled ...

Completing occurrences via batch (WAPL, BCIT, etc ) should not delete predecessors without a warning or a special parameter to indicate that it is OK to delete predecessors

If occurrences are set complete via the ISPF dialog or from the DWC, there is a warning given if there are predecessors which are not completed. When doing the same thing via batch, the predecessors are just deleted which can make the current plan...

Add SHIFT and SHIFTDAYTYPE to WAPL LIST GENDAYS

With WAPL, the LIST GENDAYS can be used to generate the passage dates for a RULE. Unfortunately, SHIFT and SHIFTDAYTYPE cannot be encoded in LIST GENDAYS. So the dates determined are wrong. However, the GENDAYS for this interactive RULE does take ...

Prevent errors during migration to a new zWS release by allocating files via EQQPCSxx jobs to have the same sizes and other characteristics as in the previous release

Currently the provided jobs (tailored by EQQJOBS) like EQQPCS01 and EQQPCS02 allocate tiny files with default characteristics. However most customers make changes, like increasing the allocation of the files (more cylinders) or modifying the MAXRE...

Since GENDAYS is very helpful for simulating runcycle groups and rules to verify the definitions, it should able to use it in EQQAMRPL (AD - Run-Panel). Since the command GENDAYS can already be used in the database to verify runcycle groups, it se...
