Enhance CICS-PA to OMEGAMON report

CICS PA OMEGAMON reports process OMEGAMON for CICS (SMF 112 subtype 203) records to produce a detailed view of how CICS transactions use the following types of database management system (DBMS): Adabas , CA-Datacom, CA-IDMS, Supra.

In SMF type112 subtype 203 record contains not just database types which CICS PA used for OMEGAMON reporting but file types which CICS PA doesn't support in OMEGAMON report.

The following is a list of all the possible file and database types in the SMF112 subtype 203 record:

VSAM, DL/I, MQ, UE1(user event) <-- file types
ADABAS, SUPRA, DATACOM, IDMS <-- database types

The data from the customer is file types (VSAM and MQ) in the SMF 112 subtype 203 which doesn't support by CICS PA in OMEGAMON report. That's why there is no records generated for this report.

If the customer wants CICS PA OMEGAMON report to support file types in the SMF 112 subtype 203 record, he/she can raise a RFE for that.

    Yes, this is something we would like to provide in CICS PA and therefore the status of this RFE is being changed to "Planned for a future release"
