Enterprise Cobol V6+ - >>PUNCH directive to include text in source

We would like to have a directive allowing to introduce calculated lines of text (not predefined in a COPYBOOK) in the source code at compile time.

We suggest the provision of a >> PUNCH directive.

Syntax:

>>PUNCH [AT column] text-expression

"text-expression" can be a concatenation of string literals and compilation variables, possibly with automatic casting of the numeric and Boolean compilation variables, and calculation by use of bracketing

This request complements and justifies our other requests 146151, 146152, 146153.

This is also not part of the COBOL Standard and is not inline with our long term raodmap. As a result, rejecting this RFE.
