Handle abend when using JSON GENERATE statement

We are facing an issue when using the JSON GENERATE cobol statement with cobol variables containing incorrect value.

For exemple, in the case of a numeric variable containing spaces, the order triggers an ASRA abend and the generated json buffer is lost.

We need to be able to retrieve the generated valid content and fill the invalid data with a default value in the json buffer. For example a NULL (https://ibm-z-software-portal.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/COBOLVUE-I-272), or zeros and spaces depending on the type of the variable. If needed, the error could be trapped with the use of the ON EXCEPTION statement, with a specific JSON-CODE value.

The best solution would be of course to correct the contents of the variables, but in the case of data generated by a legacy application this may be complicated and time consuming.
