Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

Workspace Debug for z/OS

Debug Configuration does not pick up JCL Termination (//)

If you create a debug configuration using "z/OS Batch Application using exsisting JCL"
and the JCL includes a line with only // this line is ignored and you get all the steps after the JCL terminating line in the Steplist.

This is not only true for a CEEOPTS statment.
We have some JCL Members where we have more JCL steps after the terminating line.

Example:
//CBLSTRUK EXEC T92#CPYI,SG=92,SS=00,
// GROUP=E001,UMG=S,
// MEMBER=S60U89IK,UTLENV=S
//
//DISABLED EXEC T92#CPYI,SG=57,SS=00,
// GROUP=STEST,UMG=S,
// MEMBER=S57T447C,UTLENV=S

The Step DISABLED shows up in the Steps/programs list but is never executed.

Expected is that we do not see the Step DISABLED in the list.
