Many companies have created a large amount of utilities and macros in ISPF over the years. One of the obstacles implementing RDz is for those Edit Macros which are not covered by RDz functionality.
A simple solution to cover some of these would be to enable existing Edit Macros to be used from Menu Manager. In Menu manger there is an option to specifiy $saveFileBefore.
If there was an additional option to to
1) Save File Before
2) Release lock on file on Z
3) run the macro
4) Reload the file from Z
Then a lot of Edit Macros could be executed from RDz
