I would like to be able to replace the contents of an existing PS file (which I could then rename later using existing RSE capabilities)

In order to gain more information on the request I'm reposting the previous questions.
Please provide a more specific description of the behavior you desire. Are you asking to be able to RMB->Copy on a member and then RMB->Paste on a filter in Remote Systems view? We could then prompt for a name, allocate a sequential file, and copy the contents of the member into the new sequential file. Or are you expecting to be able to RMB->Paste on an existing sequential file and replace the contents of that sequential file?
