Enhancement for IDz - Prompt to Continue before Timeout

The IDz enhancement we are requesting is to add a new IDz client side prompt that will allow the user to elect to maintain their session with the IDz host (RSE daemon) even if the RSE idle client timeout period has been reached. This request is related to the RSE_JAVAOPTS -DDSTORE_IDLE_SHUTDOWN_TIMEOUT parameter which is a timer used to disconnect idle clients after a specified number of milliseconds. Today the IDz client is notified that the session with the IDz host (RSE daemon) has timed out based on the duration that is specified in the DDSTORE_IDLE_SHUTDOWN_TIMEOUT parameter. Once the user session is idle for the specified number of milliseconds, the IDz client is notified with a message that their session has been terminated. There is no option to continue the session. Please note that it is the lack of interaction with the IDz host (RSE daemon) that causes the timeout to occur and not a lack of activity by the user in the IDz client.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. We feel this is a valid requirement but delivery within the RFE 2 year window is not likely. Please resubmit in 12-18 months for reconsideration if still valid. Again, thank you for your suggestion and continued support.

There is an existing preference under "Window > Preferences > Remote Systems > DataStore > Automatically Reconnect" that may satisfy this particular requirement.
