TS015047272: IDz v16.0.2 File transfer CR/FL char is not showing while transfer file from Remote system to local. File contains non-roundtrippable characters tried to transfer from remote system to local should transfer those char as well ex CR fL etc. This feature work in Other Mainframe emulator like rumba, pComm which allow to transfer CR/FL char while file transfer. PFa the supporting images.

    Thank you for taking the time to suggest an enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us. We are currently investigating this issue and would like to know more about it.

    • Are you downloading from MVS or Unix?

    • Is the file that you are downloading a binary or text file?

    • When you mention local, do you mean you are transferring to a local system or a local project?

    • Can you attach an example file that you defy on z/OS? And what results do you expect to see?
