Configuration file for P2 installations

I propose the inclusion of a configuration file for P2 installations which allows, for example: adding a z/OS connection by default which would allow me to distribute the tool to developers as an installation by Installation Manager allows.

Basically what is sought is to have a way to configure a default z/os connection when performing an installation using IDZ P2, this would allow that when distributing IDZ among the members of an organization, it would already have a default connection.

    Hello, I mean having some configuration file such as the ibm_developer_for_zos.ini file where it is allowed to place a z/OS connection by Default and this helps the distribution through p2 of IDZ within the organization to be much easier and the user no longer has to enable this option, I mention the Installation Manager option since it does allow sending a z/OS configuration by default in the installation.

    Hi, thank you for submitting this Idea. For additional clarity, what do you mean by, "allow me to distribute the tool to developers as an installation by Installation Manager allows"?

    Since the Idea mentions P2, I'm unsure how IM would be utilized since those two are different and separate installation / offering paths.
