    Jasper reporting is a legacy technology in EGL. It was primarily targeted for Informix 4GL to EGL migrations, and is being maintained in order to support existing applications. BIRT reporting is our strategic direction.

    We have no plans to provide enhanced documentation for Jasper reporting because we do not want to encourage new applications to be written using the non-strategic technology.
