This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

We all think this is what GM is asking for and we can now add the customer to that list. Here is his response:
I think this is what we've asked for. A batch job to set up the ITOM configuration for the collector on the lpar that will be the new “home” of the collector instance. (Remember, this is HA – not DR. Its just another lpar in the sysplex.)
If you think about this for just a few seconds… this means that we could have that as the first step of the collector started task that would set-up the configuration of the collector instance which will start-up in the second step of the started task!
If that is what this means, then yes, this is exactly what we're asking for.
Thank you for your enhancement request. We will provide this to the development team for review.
