Flow User credentials between TOR/AOR following CRTE command execution

Case TS008524302 (Defining a TOR/AOR connection definition) identified our need to configure “TXSeries for Multiplatform V9.1.02” RHEL Linux installation to support both a Terminal Owning Region (TOR) and Application Owning Region (AOR) was identified. Our service level as of this writing “TXSeries 9.1.0.2 InterimServiceFix 40”. At the case conclusion we successfully worked to configure the TOR/AOR relationship. What was also identified, the credentials used to sign on to the TOR are not passed to the AOR following the execution of the command CRTE SYSID=CICE (‘CICE’ identifies the CD Stanza entry that points to the remote system (AOR)). By default the connection/session assumes the “DefaultUserId” when the AOR session is generated. “TXSeries for Multiplatforms V9.1” documentation “Using CRTE and CESN/CESL to sign on from a remote system” https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/txseries/9.1?topic=security-using-crte-cesncesl-sign-from-remote-system suggest the use of CESN/CESL as an additional and necessary step following the execution of the CRTE command. As a system programmer CRTE command is often useful. It would be ideal to flow/pass the TOR credentials to the AOR following the CRTE command execution on the same host server. If the credentials are not defined in the UD Stanza for the remote system, then default to the DefaultUserid or deny the successful execution of the CRTE command. Finally, can you also add “Hostname” to the return values when the environmental services api “CECI INQ SYSTEM” command is issued? Thank you Regards Charles Miyawa
