Better tolerate STOP/START of container

The current iteration of zAPM required specific actions be taken in zAPM when the container or MQ region is  stopped or restarted:-

 

"Note: If IBM MQ is stopped or restarted for any reason, you need to either recycle the container address space or recycle the MQ subsystem by issuing the AGMQ INIT dispatcher command.

Before recycling the Z APM Connect Container, issue the AGMQ TERM command for all MQ subsystems connected to the container.

Before recycling the MQ subsystem, issue the AGMQ TERM command for each MQ subsystem to be recycled."

 

Regarding the documented ‘Before recycling the Z APM Connect Container, issue the AGMQ TERM command for all MQ subsystems connected to the container.’ action. It would be easier, less prone to error and prevent the potentially disruptive IPL detailed under message AGMQ0034E, if at the point a STOP ZAPM is issued the product as part of its shutdown process should internally issue AGMQ TERM for all the connected regions as it already knows it is monitoring them.
