Whilst investigating this RFE the team have found that it is possible to copy and paste from the Example Value in the Swagger UI included with the latest version of the API Toolkit with all characters and formatting being maintained when being pasted in the various REST client tools and text editors.
As such this RFE is being closed as delivered.
