This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

low priority but nice to have
Low
low
Low priority- limited use case, but could be a useful capability.
We like the flexibility that would/could come from this RFE - Medium
We make use of as many functions as possible from within GDPS panels or scripts. Every step in a process that has to be done outside GDPS or even on another platform takes time, is error-prone and must be documented.
Priority: medium
Currently N/A for Finanz Informatik.
Priority: Low
low priority
N/A for out site, but seems a good idea to do everything in GDPS. Low priority.
Reducing the number of cases where operational staff must switch between GDPS scripting and using the HMC/SE is an improvement. Given that GDPS recommends the "LOAD" option we don't use activation profiles very much, but support like this could change things. For example, in our MGM4SITE the recovery site is "dialed down" from 5 CPs to 2 CPs. To run a DR test, we have to change the number of CPs assigned per lpar, then once the DR test is complete, we must change the number of CPs back to the normal count to provide for a "real" DR that would involve CBU to "dial up" capacity.
