This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

As part of a recent migration from the CA7 Batch Scheduling Tool to IBM's IzWS, a number of OMA (OPC Migration Aid) related modules, supplied by the IBM migration team, were integrated into our local environment. Noting these modules are a requirement for the migration to IzWS, it was stated that the modules were not officially supported via SAMPLIB or the standard IBM Case process, although we could a raise Cases purely as a way of contacting the SMPO team.
To have code in our production systems that is not fully supported by the standard Case process and SAMPLIB is deemed a Risk to the Business and hence we are requesting that the modules in question, OMAJVXIT, OMASCHID and OMAUX007 are supported via SAMPLIB, and hence officially by IBM.

Hi all, unfortunately we cannot support code that has been written by the SMPO team and that by the way is not part of the partnership between IBM and HCL.
