This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Note that this is a duplicate of RFE number 45584. We had discussed this and here is what we said at the time:
As discussed during the conference call on 22nd May, implementing CM-CM server communications for functions such as reporting would not be an efficient solution when compared with creating a copy of the CSD and
running the comparison via the local CM server.
Notes from discussions with Reuben and Ezriel on 28th May 2014:
Agreed that we would reject this requirement. Further details of discussions with Fidelity are attached below:
Robert Garrett explained that they CSDs on disparate sysplexes with non-shared DASD and need to be able to do comparison type functions for these. Ezriel and Satish explained the performance and complexity associated with a solution which requires CMServer-CMServer communications and the data volumes and synchronisation issues.
One of Robert’s colleagues also explained that they do not currently implement synchronous connections between CMAS and other servers due to performance and connectivity issues. Based on these experiences, they may not even be able to implement such a solution if it were to be provided.
Although Robert was reluctant to let this one go, I think we have agreement from Fidelity that this one can be rejected.
