The problem is the way that CICS as the Client deals with the Server certificates, when compared to how a browser Client handles the Server certificates.
The customer sees that CICS when acting as a Client does not treat invalid Server certificates the same as a browser Client does. And he believes that if there is a problem with the Server Certificate
provided by the Server, that CICS should take some action at the CICS application level and be able to make a decision whether to present the
invalid certificate back to the browser, thus causing the pop-up to the end-user on the browser.
This would require new function in CICS - possibly to have CICS perform validation or alternatively provide the application with server certificate information to allow it to perform its own checking.

This requirement has been re-evaluated. Looking at current plans, it is not likely that this would be implemented in the next two CICS TS releases, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected.
