CPSM does not provide statistics on resource utilization.

CPSM does not provide statistics on resource utilization. In contrast, any CICS resource can be measured and reported on by way of CICS Statistics (Interval, End-Of-Day, etc) that are written to SMF 110 records.
For serviceability, usability, and cross-product consistence, CPSM needs to produce these same types of statistics on resource utilization, especially for resources that may be customized by EYUPARMs.
For example, a customer may specify COMMTSBLOCKS(1024) in their EYUPARMs, but CPSM provides no means of reporting on how many blocks ever got used, nor what the high-water mark was UNLESS there is a shortage. This was not acceptable to the customer who requested this FITS.
CPSM should capture statistics on ALL (though not limited to just those listed below) of the following user-configurable EYUPARMs

BASASSOCBLK
(number of blocks used at any give time interval as well as HWM)
COMMTSBLOCKS
(number of blocks used at any give time interval as well as HWM)
MASALTLRTTIM
(number of times this threshold was reached in any interval, causing work to be routed to another CONA task)
MAXAUXCPSM and MAXAUXTOTL
(How much aux storage was actually used)
MSGBUCKETS
(HWM of number used, so customer can proactively avoid XDATLOST issues)
SECTIMEOUT
(Same type of statistics that are provided for the CICS USRDELAY SIT parameter)
STALLxxxTSK and STALLxxxCNT
(Total number of occurrences of a stall in any given interval, as well as HWM, and the total time that any class of stall accumulated during an interval)
TOBATCHREQ and TOONLINEREQ
(How many times a request timed out in any given interval)

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Transaction Processing
    Product - CICS Transaction Server

This requirement has been re-evaluated. Looking at current plans, it is not likely that this would be implemented in the next two CICS TS releases, so correspondingly this requirement is being rejected. You have an opportunity to resubmit in twelve months time if you wish it to be considered then.
