COBOL Z/OS support LRECL greater than 32767

Hi, Like for ZFS files i want that COBOL can support records greater than 32767. In USS environment i can create, read a record greater than 32767, in Z/OS VBS record format i can't.
The LRECL=X is supported on JCL.

    Hi,

    We have re-evaluated this RFE.

    If you are using LSQ access method, this is currently available.

    If you are using QSAM, please consider opening a new RFE against the QSAM team if this is still an issue.

    Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - Servers and Systems Software

    Product - COBOL Compilers

    For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:

    This RFE's Headline was changed after submission to reflect the headline of an internal request we were already considering, but will now track here.
