Maintain text formatting by copying/pasting from IDZ to external editor like WORD

We would like to retain the layout of the text of a COBOL program or a JCL when copying and pasting from COBOL editor IDZ to an external editor like WORD.

Indeed, when opening a COBOL program (or JCL) with the COBOL editor (or JCL editor), which is the default editor, and copy from IDZ to paste in WORD, the layout of the text disappear : no conservation of font colors.

This manipulation is widely used among the users and it's more visually appealing and makes it easier to distinguish between the program text and the other paragraphs.

Many of our added enhancements come directly from suggestions from our users like yourself. We?ve spent some time evaluating this idea and have concluded that it is not something that we can provide a solution for in the next two years.
