Database perspective wrong hex convert

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

When you convert in the db2 perspective a search result from character to hex, the converted result is ASCII. Expected would EBCDIC because RDZ is for HOST.

If you convert this again (reconverting was expected) the result is garbage.
I expect a conversion into the originial format and not a second conversion to anything (garbage).

There is no way (or I'd not found it) to step back to the origin
search result which was a grid with a lot of rows.

The function is useless for mainframe programmer.

    RDz is dependent on data tools to provide this functionality. We have opened this request on their queue (RIMS # R2PRO00004795) and is being evaluated for delivery in a future release. We will continue to monitor the request there and once it is provided within data tools, it will be delivered through a RDz release. Thanks.
